How do these things happen to me???

On the tram this morning a man rested his bag on my head, and started sorting through it.
(the bag, not my head)
It wasn't particularly heavy, but it certainly was a bag, and it certainly was being rested upon my head. I was sitting down, he was standing nearby, and apparently my head looked like a nice place to put one's bag.
I jumped, and said "Excuse me!"
He looked at me indignantly, and removed his bag.
My head is not for bags. Not unless I put them there.

Hi Carolyn, I wonder why that man finds you head a nice place to put his bag...I mean you head is not flat like a table top. I hope no one else will use you head as a bag-rest next time.
pinkukulele has a new look...wow. I thought I have accessed the wrong site when I first open it.
By the way, I'm both happy and sad that uni is finishing in about two weeks or so. Happy cause I'm going out into the whole wide world. Sad because uni was my home for almost 6 years. Also sad because I will be going out of PNG leaving family and friends behind.
A (you know who A is) is going back to Melbourne mid-July. That's also one reason I am sad. The friendship had already develop into something more than just friendship. And my work location has changed. Instead of Qatar, I am now going to Melun, France. Melun is a suburb/city 20km southeast of Paris. I have always wanted to go to France and it is good that I am now going there at last, yay! Only thing though is that I will miss A. I may ask to be relocated to Oz someday. A is thinking of visiting me while I am in France. But if our plans don't work then maybe I'll just move on and create myself a new life in France. It's sad (though excited about France) and unpredictable at the moment but I hope things turn out fine for me.

Hi Paul! It's great to see that things are going well. I'm really sorry that A is going away - that must be tough. Is there any chance of you visiting in Melbourne on your way to France? Or Perth - are you still going there soon?
Speaking of France, my sister lives on the edge of Paris so I will SO be introducing you two, and you will be lovely friends. She'll be able to look after you. You'll probably have more fun there than Qatar (nothing against Qatar...)!
It's really great to know that you're looking forward to a lot of things. I hope you're keeping sane with the end of uni coming up - take care of yourself, and come through Melbourne soon to see A and me!!!

The trip to Perth has been canceled. I will go to Paris straight from PNG. But because there are no direct flights I may transit through Melbourne. I am thinking of going to Melbourne a week or so before my trip to Paris so I can see A and perhaps you as well. This plan is not confirmed yet, though.

Paul, it would be great if you could come to Melbourne! You should try to do this - although prepare yourself for the cold, it's just awful at the moment. Let me know how the plans go!
